Two years after I created this blog it’s time to migrate to a dedicated domain name. As some of you may already know (this blog’s rss feed link refers to another site) I have created a mirror site at www.peridotcapitalist.com and have been double-posting blog entries at both locations. I wanted to keep the blogspot site up and running to accomodate long-time readers and various links across the Internet, but also realized that blogspot lacked many features that bothered me; categories and a better looking interface, to name a couple.
I just wanted to let you all know about the new site (if you did not know about it already) so if you wanted to change your rss feed or your browser’s bookmark, you could go ahead and do so. I will be keeping the blogspot site updated as I have been, but figured a slow migration to try and move traffic to the newer location was a wise move. If I get to a point where the vast majority of traffic goes to the new site, I may eventually only post new entries on one of the sites, not both.
