Since small business employs most people in the country, exempt them from all business and payroll taxes. If that happened, Joe the Plumber would buy a business, hire as many people as he could to maximize profits, and reward himself with a new car, new house, new furniture, and take his wife out to a show and nice dinner. Simulus the old fashioned way.

PS cap gains cuts don't lead to stock buying. They lead to more capital expansion. This, in times leads to higher stocks.

Fairly choopy sequence. Yes, the direct benefit to tax cuts for coroporations does not directly lead to hiring. It does , however, leading to better margins, lowe prices, capital expansion, and finally, the need to hire. I cannot get to NYC by stepping out of my door. But, if I add a few steps in between, I am in the Big Apple.
