Chad Brand, founder and President of Peridot Capital Management LLC, started this blog in 2004 to share periodic thoughts about the financial markets to both his firm's clients and those who were interested in his views but were not looking to hire a dedicated investment manager. Since inception the site has been featured in five online financial publications that cover investing-related blogs:
